Reviews and setlists THESE DAYS 1996 These Days Tour was my very first Bon Jovi concert. It was on a Tuesday 2nd July 1996 at the Ostend Hippodrome (Belgium).
As it was the first time I saw them I was really excited and happy! I didn't know at which time to go to have a good view. I arrived there at the first rows of the second pit but we could see them good!!
At about 8.15 pm the fanfare came on stage playing the begining of Lay Your Hands On Me, the crowd screamed, jumped,.. it was unbelievable!

CRUSH 2000 After 4 years they were finally back for the Crush Tour!!! During these 4 years I missed them so much that I wanted to see them more than once! So I managed to go to 4 concerts!
2000 was definitely the Bon Jovi year so I wanted to make this year unforgetable! I had to travel to see them more than once!
Essen 12th (Germany) was the first "Crush" concert on my tour trip. I had a seatplace to be sure to have a good view cause I knew that I was going to arrive late at least not early enough to be on the first pit even if I'm a "Backstage" member. Anyway I had a great time and Bon Jovi were once again perfect :) The setlist was very good... as usual!

Keep The Faith One week after Essen, I was back on the road but this time it was to London to attend the first Wembley show on the 19th August 2000. When I arrived at the stadium I was very impressed by the BIG Stadium... 72 000 people for our Bon Jovi!
I saw the Wembley show in 1995 on video and I couldn't believe that I was going to be there too! What an atmosphere!!!

Keep The Faith / Sympathy For The Devil Bon Jovi was finally in "my" country... Belgium! I was very excited because when it's in our own country it's always a great feeling even if the concerts abroad are really good and amazing. I really wanted to be in front of them this time so I went there with some friends very early and we could reach the second row!!! I was so close!
During "Lay Your Hands On Me" Jon came to shake hands with fans and I could touch him :) My god... that was so great!!!
The setlist had a little bit changed with mainly "I believe" as intro, Falling In Love, Damned,... That was a great concert!

Keep The Faith Last concert of my Crush Tour arrived... Holland, Arnhem 1st Sptember! I must admit that I was a little bit "sad" because it was the last one and I didn't know at this time that they were coming in 2001 for some Wild Nights!
This show was once again very good specially with "Thank you For Loving Me" at the end. Maybe only one regret I wanted to hear "Mistery Train" live but not at "mine" concerts! It will be for the next time... I hope so!

Thank You For Loving Me ONE WILD NIGHT 2001 After this fabulous year with the world CRUSH Tour they were back again to rock! This tour was called One Wild Night with the released of their new Live Album. I was very happy they came back in Europe specially in Belgium! But the moment was not very good... LOL In Belgium June is an EXAMS month!!! But I all the same could make 3 dates.
Werchter 3rd June 2001: Bon Jovi was back in Belgium for a very good one wild night!!!
At the show there were some problems with the lights and sound but the concert was really great. The stage was the Empire State Building with 3 big screens on it. The setlist was PERFECT!

I have to say that French people were very happy to see them after 5 years! The atmosphere was very cool.
And at the concert Jon spoke French... it was very funny to hear him saying "bonsoir Paris" and after some songs "merci beaucoup"!

My 9th show was different from my previous ones because it was not really a Bon Jovi show: it was for the promo of their new album Bounce.
At 7 pm show starts with Chris Tarrant followed by Top Loader, CT's all star and the Appletons!! To be honnest I didn't care about the first part I was waiting BJ so much with impatience.
Before Bon Jovi arrives on stage David Seaman (english goalkeeper) joined Chris Tarrant to show his support and to welcome the best band in the world Bon Jovi!.
Finally at 9.10 pm Bon Jovi came on stage, no need to say the crowd became crazy and everybody screamed and jumped!
The guys were in a very good mood and looked very sexy specially Richie with his funny pant (English flag).
The whole concert was amazing besides the sound! Too hard. It's really "painful" to listen to a concert when the sound is so loud. I'm sure everybody would enjoy better the show if it was less hard.
But anyway I got a great jovi night of course and I don't complain at all :)))))))))
Now I'm waiting for the real Bounce tour which I'm sure will rock!!!!!!!!!!
